On Saturday, September 23, 2017, some classmates from the Cabool High School class of 1967 and their friends gathered at El Imperial in Cabool. This was a time of remembering the memories of yesterdays past and making new memories. We had three coming from out of state. Bobby Bauer and wife from California, Susie (Morris) and Raymond Altis from Sedalia, Missouri, and her sister, Cathy (Morris) and husband Ralph Bauer from Florida. Both Cathy and Ralph are graduates from the Cabool school system. We also had Billy Bowen and wife from Willow Springs come and join us. Billy went to Cabool Schools for years and then graduated from Willow Springs High School.
We also had Wendy (Honeycutt) and husband Frank Brown from Irondale, Missouri. Wendy also attended the Cabool school system.
We had Karen (Odom) and husband Terry Brown from Mtn. Grove. Karen also attended and graduated from Cabool.
Others from Cabool were Liz (Jarrett) Durham, Linda (Rhoads) Glenn, Edwin Neher and wife, Clinton Reed, Roy Carson, Donna (Walls) Farmer, and friends Gary and Leona Day.
The award was given to Bobby Bauer for coming the farthest, Karen Odom Brown for doing the most daring thing (zip lining) in her older years, Linda Rhoads Glenn for having the most kids, Wendy Honeycutt Brown for having the most grandkids, and Liz Jarrett Durham for being married to the same man for the longest, 50 years.
The get-together was to honor Gary Aldridge, but he was unable to attend due to being taken to the hospital. Pictures were made and a copy will be given to him.
Classmates from CHS gathering September 23 in Cabool were, from left, Bobby Bauer, Clinton Reed, Donna Farmer, Karen Brown, Susie Altis, Liz Durham, Linda Glenn, Billy Bowen, Wendy Brown, Roy Carson and Edwin Neher.
